Mezzanine Shelves: Your Warehouse’s Space-Maximizing Expert

1. Scientific Structure for Efficient Load-Bearing Storage

Mezzanine shelves are supported by a steel frame structure, which serves as the core, paired with floor platforms constructed from cold-rolled steel plates, creating double-layer or multi-layer storage spaces (with upper and lower levels). The columns utilize 90*60/90*70mm thickened square tubes, while the beams are designed as welded beams. Each layer can support a load of 500-2000kg, accommodating the storage requirements for small to medium-sized goods. The platform surface is covered with anti-slip checkered steel plates, and 10cm-high guardrails are installed along the edges to ensure operational safety. Additionally, hydraulic elevators or stairs are provided to facilitate the vertical transportation of personnel and goods, achieving an efficient "goods-to-person" operation mode.

2. Multi-Scenario Adaptation to Release Warehouse Potential

E-commerce Warehousing: For light and small items such as clothing and 3C accessories, mezzanine shelves can increase the space utilization rate of flat warehouses by 2-3 times. High-frequency outbound goods are stored on the lower layer, while slow-moving inventory is stored on the upper layer. Combined with sorting conveyors, rapid order picking is achieved.

Industrial Workshops: In the field of machinery manufacturing, they are often used to store parts and semi-finished products. The lower layer serves as a turnover area for production materials, and the upper layer is used for long-term stockpiling. This reduces the floor space occupied by equipment and optimizes the workshop workflow.

Supermarket Distribution: Fresh produce and daily necessities distribution centers use mezzanine shelves to plan temperature zones (ambient temperature zone and refrigerated zone) in layers. Non-fresh goods are stored on the upper layer, and cold chain shelves are set up on the lower layer, which reduces energy consumption while improving sorting efficiency.

From structural design to on-site application, mezzanine shelves, with their core advantage of "maximizing vertical space", have become a cost-effective solution to address the issue of tight warehouse space, helping enterprises reduce costs and improve efficiency.
