Heavy-Duty Mezzanine Rack Case Study: 342sqm Vertical Storage for Wire Factory

Project Context：

The client for this project is a professional wire and cable manufacturer. With production scaling up, traditional floor-based storage could no longer accommodate the growing inventory of raw materials and finished cable spools. The primary bottleneck was the limited warehouse footprint.

The Challenges:

Heavy-Duty Storage Requirements: Cable spools are extremely heavy, requiring high structural stability and load-bearing capacity from the racking system.

Vertical Transport Efficiency: Frequent movement of heavy goods between levels necessitated a reliable integrated vertical lifting system.

Safety Standards: Given the high-traffic workshop environment, the safety of both personnel and goods was paramount.

The Solution:

Based on our technical design, a Heavy-Duty Steel Structure Mezzanine Rack System was implemented:

Space Doubling: Added approximately 342 square meters of storage platform above the existing floor space.

Integrated Lifting System: An industrial-grade cargo lift was integrated on the side, equipped with safety isolation mesh to solve the challenge of moving heavy loads vertically.

High Load Design: A design capacity of 500KG per square meter was implemented to fully meet the high-intensity storage needs of cable spools.
